Rubberized Bitumen Waterproofing
MULTI BIT 1702 is a thixotropic rubberized bitumen emulsion dries to provide a tough, seamless, flexible waterproof and vapour proof membrane coating. It forms a dark, thick coating that key directly onto cementitious and brick surfaces.

Description

Directions for Use
Surface Preparation:
Surfaces are to be clean, sound, and free of deleterious substances. Remove all laitance, oil, grease, mould oil or curing compound from concrete surfaces using wire brush, bush hammer, scabbler or other plant as appropriate. When repairing damaged concrete, ensure that all loose concrete has removed down to a firm base. Repair with MULTI PLAST 1038 or MULTI GROUT CEM 60. Surfaces can be damp but not wet.
Priming:
No priming is required
Application:
Apply with a sprayer or block brush or at a rate of 0.5mm thickness. Inset MULTI POLYESTER FIBRE MEMBRANE (if required). Allow to cure for 24 hours between coats. Apply a second coat. Target thickness is 1mm.
Equipment Care
Clean all equipment immediately after use with water. If delayed, use of MULTI THINNERS may be necessary.
