POXY 1305
Wet-to-Dry Epoxy Adhesive Primer
POXY 1305 is a filled thixotropic solvent free epoxy primer used primarily as adhesive primer for new concrete pours onto existing concrete substrates. The adhesive is fluid enough to apply over uneven surfaces with good penetration into the substrate. Sets at low temperatures and is resistant to moisture and has excellent chemical resistance.
TYPICAL APPLICATION
Bonding wet concrete to cured concrete, brick and steel in structural applications. Also used as a bonding adhesive for patching and repair work.

WATCH POINTS
• Pour concrete onto the POXY 1305 while it is still wet or tacky, do not allow it to set hard or it will act as a bond breaker.
• Mix only enough that can be covered in 1 hour of application.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Surface Preparation:
Surfaces to be clean, sound and free of deleterious substances. Remove all laitance, oil, grease, paints, mould oil or curing compound from surfaces using wire brush, bush hammer, scabbler or other plant as appropriate.
Priming:
No priming is required.
Application:
Mix the resin and hardener together in a clean bucket. Mix only enough to be able to apply within the pot life of the epoxy. Using a long pile mohair roller, apply a liberal coat of POXY 1305 over the surface to be primed, working the primer into the substrate well. Set the wet concrete into the primer while it is still wet or tacky to ensure good bond between the two substrates.

Equipment Care
All tools should be cleaned with thinners immediately after use. If delayed, equipment will need mechanical action to clean or be discarded.
