Description
TECHNICAL DATASHEET
POXY ROAD STUD ADHESIVE
Fast Set Epoxy Adhesive Putty
POXY ROAD STUD ADHESIVE is a linseed oil cured putty epoxy compound used to fill holes in porous or bitumen-based substrates. Used extensively as an adhesive where fast set cure is required e.g. road studs
TYPICAL APPLICATION
For commercial and industrial applications where high early strength and fast set onto surfaces such as tar, concrete and plaster is required.
ADVANTAGES
• Putty consistency
• Fast set
• Economical
• High compressive strength
• Excellent adhesion to dry concrete
• Non-shrink
• High resistance to water and chemicals
WATCH POINTS
• Clean off epoxy from equipment while still in wet state
• Mix part A (light grey) and part B (black) until the colours are uniformly mixed to a mid grey colour
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Surface Preparation:
Surfaces to be clean, dry, sound, and free of deleterious substances. Remove all laitance, oil, grease, paints, mould oil or curing compound from surfaces using wire brush, bush hammer, scabbler or other plant as appropriate.
Priming:
No priming is required.
Application:
Mix the resin and hardener together in a clean bucket. Mix only enough to be able to work out within the pot life of the epoxy. Trowel out using steel trowels, or pump into confined spaces. Allow 3-4 hours before applying pressure or loads on the treated areas.
