Description

STONE CARPET POREFILL is a clear natural stone screed sealer that provides UV resistance and waterproofing to decorative natural stone screeds. It further fills small voids preventing dirt entrapment, making the STONE CARPET screed easier to maintain and clean.

For sealing STONE CARPET screed applications or any screeds or concrete surfaces where a thick, squeegee applied sealer will benefit having small void filling capabilities, UV resistance and waterproofing.

Watch Points

• Premature to water exposure will prevent the sealer maintaining a clear appearance.
• Do not thin down the sealer as it will not be able to fill voids and form a waterproof barrier.
• The sealer will take on the contours of the screed and not form a solid, level seal.

Directions for Use

Surface Preparation: Surfaces to be clean, sound and free of deleterious substances. Remove all laitance, oil, grease, paints, mould oil or curing compound from surfaces using appropriate tools relevant for the underlying substrate. Substrates need to be dry. Priming: No priming required.

Application:

Apply directly to the surface and squeegee into voids and uneven surfaces. Pick up excess with a damp sponge or soft cloth and allow to dry for 8-12 hours. Should voids still present after the first application is dry, apply a second coat to ensure a complete, waterproof seal. Allow 48 hours after sealing before exposure to water.

Equipment Care

All tools should be cleaned with water immediately after use. If delayed, equipment will need mechanical action to clean or be discarded.
