DESCRIPTION

MULTI POXY 1307 EPOSCREED is a 6mm epoxy screed that is used primarily to fill and raise floor surfaces. Fine, hard fillers make the screed long lasting and can be used in damp areas. Water washable and smooth finishing. Sets at low temperatures and is resistant to moisture, UV light and has excellent chemical resistance.

For use in commercial and industrial flooring applications where long lasting, water resistant, chemical resistant screed is required. Used in showrooms, offices, kitchens, laboratories, pools, shopping areas, floors and domestic applications.

WATCH POINTS

• Exposure of the screed to intense lighting or direct sunlight will produce discolouration in time. 
• Do not hold a full kit in a bucket for more than 5 minutes, rather pour out onto floor and trowel out within the working time of the product.
• Screeds maybe textured if resin is not worked to the surface. 

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

SURFACE PREPARATION

Surfaces to be clean, sound and free of deleterious substances. Remove all laitance, oil, grease, paints, mould oil or curing compound from surfaces using wire brush, bush hammer, scabbler or other plant as appropriate.  

PRIMING

No priming is required. 

APPLICATION

Mix the resin and hardener together in a clean bucket and mix in the aggregate. Mix only enough to be able to screed out within the pot life of the epoxy. Trowel out using steel trowels. Back roll using a sponge roller to work resin to the surface for a smoother finish. Allow 8-12 hours before overcoating and 24 hours before light traffic. Overcoat with any solvent free epoxy-based coating such as MULTI POXY 1938 in colour of choice.  

EQUIPMENT CARE

All tools should be cleaned with water immediately after use. If delayed, equipment will need thinners or mechanical action to clean or be discarded.
