Multi Screed Primer
Versatile Primer for Self-Levelling Screeds and Plasters
MULTI SCREED PRIMER is a milky white liquid additive for improving the adhesion of screeds and plasters to substrates, as well as sealing pores and providing added waterproofing capabilities. Contains a specialized acrylic emulsion polymer that is highly water resistant while imparting flexibility and outstanding adhesion properties to the mix.
Typical Applications
When applied by brush or spray to surfaces of face brickwork, natural stonework, concrete, paint and asbestos sheeting, it penetrates deeply beneath the surface to line the pores with a thin acrylic coating.

Watch Points
- Take up excess product on the floor – do not allow to pool
- Only apply over the primer once the white colour is no longer visible on drying
- Do not apply over dry primer as this will act as a bond breaker
Directions for Use
Surface Preparation:
The surface to be treated should be dry and free of loose matter, moss, algae growth and curing compounds. Cracks and holes need to be attended to before priming. Efflorescence should be removed from the surface by brushing. For maximum penetration smooth dense surfaces should be prepared by grit blasting, water blasting or by other mechanical means.
Priming:
Dilute the MULTI SCREED PRIMER with water at a 1:1 ratio. Apply directly to concrete surfaces using a PVA roller or spray application and allow to draw in. If the substrate is very porous, another application maybe required. Ensure all areas are thoroughly wet with the primer and take up any product that pools on the surface and does not draw into the substrate.
Application:
Once the MULTI SCREED PRIMER has lost its white colour but is still tacky, approximately 2-4 hours, overlay with cementitious screed applications. Do not allow the primer to dry out and become dry to touch as this may act as a bond breaker to the screed application.
